14 Day Deluxe Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Board your overnight transatlantic flight.

Day 2 Arrival in Warsaw, Poland. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Balance of day at leisure. Enjoy this evening’s WELCOME DINNER with your traveling companions. (D)

Day 3 Warsaw. Guided sightseeing includes the CATHEDRAL OF ST. JOHN, Lazienki Palace and the Warsaw Ghetto. Also enjoy an excursion to NIEPOKALANOW, the Franciscan friary founded by St. Maximilian Kolbe. (BB)

Day 4 Warsaw-Czestochowa-Auschwitz-Krakow. Travel to CZESTOCHOWA, one of the world’s most famous Marian shrines and Pope John Paul II’s favorite. Continue to Krakow. Afterwards journey to AUSCHWITZ CONCENTRATION CAMP, visit the Martyrdom Museum and St. Maximilian Kolbe’s cell. (BB,D)

Day 5 Krakow. Excursion to Auschwitz. Guided sightseeing of Old Town Krakow, the city where Pope John Paul II served as archbishop, includes ST. MARY’S CHURCH and WAWEL ROYAL CASTLE. Balance of day at leisure. (BB)

Day 6 Krakow. Excursions to Wadowice and Kalwaria Zebryzdowska. This morning visit the world famous SHRINE OF DIVINE MERCY. Then travel to Wadowice to visit the birthplace and BOYHOOD HOME of Pope John Paul II. Also visit KALWARIA ZEBRYZDOWSKA, the Pope’s favorite shrine. (BB,D)

Day 7 Krakow-Slovakia-Budapest, Hungary. A scenic day as you travel through Slovakia. Arrive in Budapest, Hungary. Balance of day at leisure. (BB,D)

Day 8 Budapest. Sightseeing includes MATTHIAS CORONATION CHURCH, BASILICA OF ST. STEPHEN CHURCH, and HEROES’ SQUARE. Balance of day at leisure. (BB)

Day 9 Budapest-Vienna, Austria. Journey to Györ to see the miraculous IRISH MADONNA image. Arrive in Vienna. (BB,D)

Day 10 Vienna. Enjoy guided sightseeing including visits to Heldenplatz and ST. STEPHEN’S CATHEDRAL. Balance of day at leisure. (BB)

Day 11 Vienna-Prague, Czech Republic. Travel through the beautiful European countryside and visit Brno, once Napoleon’s headquarters, for an orientation tour before arriving in Prague. (BB)

Day 12 Prague. Guided sightseeing of Prague includes ST. VITUS CATHEDRAL (on Sundays no inside guiding permitted) and the Astronomical Clock. Also see the beloved INFANT CHILD OF PRAGUE statue at Our Lady of Victory Church. Balance of day is at leisure. Enjoy this evening’s FAREWELL DINNER. (BB,D)

Day 13 Prague. At your leisure to explore the wonderful sights and sounds of Praque. (BB)

Day 14. Your homebound flight arrives the same day. (BB)
