1, Saturday - September 4, 2010 - Depart the USA
Depart USA for your flight to Frankfurt, Germany. Your flight includes
meals and in-flight entertainment for your journey
DAY
2, Sunday - September 5, 2010 - Arrive
in Heidelberg, Heidelberg City Tour
Arrive at Frankfurt Main International Airport and transfer to the picturesque
city of Heidelberg. Check in to your hotel, then enjoy a tour of this
romantic medieval city. Sightseeing will include a visit to the Castle
Ruins which is home to the Student Prince. You'll also get a chance
to see the famous Stone Bridge and one of the oldest Universities in
the World. Following your tour, experience the local cuisine with a
welcome dinner. Overnight: Heidelberg -

Day
3, Monday - September 6, 2010 - Morning
Mass, Nuremberg City Tour, Transfer to Regensburg
After breakfast and Mass, depart for Nuremberg, Capital of the Holy Roman
Empire. Time at leisure for lunch on your own and a stroll through the
sites. After lunch, continue to the Ancient Romans city of Regensburg.
Enjoy some time at leisure and then join us for dinner

4, Tuesday - September 7, 2010 - Regensburg
City Tour
This morning witness one of Germany's best preserved medieval cities
with a walking tour of Regensburg. Visit the Old Town Hall, the Dom
St. Peter, the Roman Gates at Porta Pretoria, and the University of
Regensburg, where Pope Benedict XVI taught theology before being named
Archbishop, and later, Cardinal of Munich and Freising. Use the remainder
of the day to explore the city on your own.

5, Wednesday - September 8, 2010 - Altoetting Tour & Mass
En Route to Munich
After breakfast, depart Regensburg and head for Marktl am Inn (Diocese
of Passau), where Pope Benedict XVI was born and baptized in 1927 as
Joseph Aloisius Ratzinger. View the house of his birth, then continue
on to the tiny pilgrimage city of Altoetting . Upon arrival, visit
the Chapel of Grace which is one of the most visited religious shrines
in Germany. Here you will find the sacred icon of the Black Madonna.
Celebrate Mass, then enjoy time on your own for lunch before heading
to Munich. While en route, enjoy a scenic drive through the city. You'll
see such sights as the Baroque Nymphenberg Palace, the former summer
residence of the Wittlesbach dynasty, and the Marienplatz with its
famous Glockenspiel clock. Afterwards retire to your hotel for dinner. Overnight:

6, Thursday - September 9, 2010 - Munich City Tour, Neuschwanstein
Castle Tour & Visit
to Church of Wies En Route to Oberammergau
After breakfast, take a morning city tour of Munich. Tour includes visits
to two of the city's most important churches that Pope Benedict XVI served
before being appointed Archbishop. From there continue on to the University
of Munich and then to the 15th Century Church of Our Lady in the city
centre. Afterwards head into the densely forested mountains of southwest
Bavaria. Here you'll see the dream-like castle of Neuschwanstein. This
castle was built by the “Mad King” Ludwig and is known for
its extraordinary architectural feats. View Wieskirche, otherwise known
as “The Church in the Meadow”, on the way to Oberammergau. Overnight:

7, Friday - September 10, 2010 - Morning
Mass, Oberammergau Village Tour, Passion Play Performance
After morning Mass enjoy a walking tour of the village. Then take some
time to enjoy this quaint mountain village on your own. After lunch take
your premium seats for the world famous Passion Play. The play has a
running time of approximately 5 hours. Dinner is served during a 3 hour
intermission. Overnight: Oberammergau Area -

for the USA
Transfer to Munich airport for your departure flight. Meals: Breakfast
