Terms
and Conditions: The
following are the terms and conditions of this tour. Walkabout
Adventure Travel is hereinafter referred to WAT.
Cancellations: All
cancellations must be in writing directed to WAT. Deposits and payments
are subject to the following cancellation fees, unless specifically
noted. Cancellation
fees are as follows without Trip Cancellation Insurance:
- Cancellation
of deposit 185+ days prior to departure are fully refundable.
- Cancellations
184 days to 100 days prior to departure become refundable less $50.00
- Cancellations
99 days to 70 days prior to departure deposit becomes non refundable
- Final
payment is due approximately 70 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations
69 days to 60 days prior to departure = 25% of tour price.
- Cancellations
59 days to 30 days prior to departure = 50% of tour price.
- Cancellations
29 days to 15 days prior to departure = 75% of tour price.
- Cancellations
14 days to time of departure = 100% of tour price.
Passports: A
valid passport is required for travel outside the U.S. If you do
not have a passport with 6 months validity, and 4 blank pages available
labeled “Visa”,
or do not have a passport at this time, please contact Walkabout.
If you do not have a valid passport, please submit applications immediately
at your Central Post Office. Walkabout is not responsible for invalid
passports; and it is the sole responsibility of the traveler. U.S.
tours require a valid Government issued I. D.
Responsibility: All
tour products including airfare, transportation, accommodations,
guides and insurance services are furnished by airlines and tour
providers, with WAT acting only as their booking agency. WAT shall
not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury to property, or injury
to persons caused by reason of any defect by any transportation company,
hotel or any such party providing said services including delays in
departure, arrivals, or exclusions in the following tour package. “Acts
of God” are not WAT’s responsibility or liability with
this tour.
Money: All
money received by WAT is held in an escrow account with Wells Fargo
Bank to insure your money is well protected.
Arrival/Exit
Taxes: These taxes are government generated, and
estimated in the above pricing until notice of exact fees prior
to final payment. Exit taxes often require payment at the inbound
airport, and are subject to change. Proper information will be provided
prior to departure.
Airline
Taxes & Fuel surcharges: These fees are charged when
your airline tickets are issued, and are subject to change until
that time. Once again, they only estimated, & subject to additional
collection if rates change.
Refunds: All
refunds for this tour take approximately 12 weeks
to process, with or without insurance coverage. The mentioned
cancellation fees are dictated by the Tour Operators
for this tour. These fees will be deducted from your payments, prior
to refund. Insured travelers receive invoicing with fees and
deductions for submission to your travel insurance provider.
Liability: The
sponsoring organization for this tour assumes no liability in any
way for the events that happen prior to, or while on-tour.
All money and correspondence will be directed
to WAT as the booking agent for this tour. Please contact WAT concerning any liability issues.
Travel Insurance:
As of January 1, 2009, all WAT tour participants will have
insurance coverage against medical, emergency hospitalization,
trip delay & interruption, baggage loss and loss of life insurance
while on-tour. This does not include Trip Cancellation Insurance
which will be offered upon deposit for this tour. Cancellation
Insurance is not mandatory, but is highly suggested! Additional
Travel insurance information and rates will be made available upon
deposit.
