New England Adventure" Tour
Terms
and Conditions: The
following are the terms and conditions of this tour. Walkabout
Adventure Travel is hereinafter referred to WAT.
Cancellations: All
cancellations must be in writing. Deposits become non-refundable less
$50 upon receipt at this time. WAT standard cancellation fees apply
and are noted below.
- Cancellation
of deposit 185+ days prior to departure are fully refundable.
- Cancellations
184 days to 100 days prior to departure become refundable
less $50.00
- Cancellations
99 days to 70 days prior to departure deposit becomes non refundable
- Final
payment is due approximately 70 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations
69 days to 60 days prior to departure = 25% of tour price.
- Cancellations
59 days to 30 days prior to departure = 50% of tour price.
- Cancellations
29 days to 15 days prior to departure = 75% of tour price.
- Cancellations
14 days to time of departure = 100% of tour price.
Responsibility: All
tickets, accommodations, insurance, and other services furnished by
others, with WAT acting only as their booking agency. WAT shall not
be responsible for any loss, damage or injury to property, or injury
to persons caused by reason of any defect by any transportation company,
hotel or any such party providing said services including delays in
departure, arrivals, or exclusions in the following tour package. “Acts
of God” are not WAT’s responsibility.
Money: All
money received by WAT is held in an escrow account with Wells Fargo
Bank to insure your money is well protected. Refunds: Cancellations
must be in written form, and will be processed through WAT and the
participating companies on this tour.
Refunds: All
refunds for this tour have typically taken around 12 weeks to process,
with or without insurance coverage. The following cancellation fees
are set down by WAT and Tour Operators for this tour. These fees will
be deducted from your payments, prior to refund. Insured travelers
will receive an invoice with fees and deductions to submit for refund
with your insurance carrier.
Liability: The
Green Valley Elks Lodge #2592 assumes no liability in any way for the
events surrounding this tour. The Green Valley Elks Travel Club also
assumes no liability in any way for the events surrounding this tour.
All money will be directed to the booking agent for this tour. Please
contact Walkabout concerning any liability issues.
Insurance:

Cancellation & Medical
Insurance offered
at $110.00 per
person*
*Collette Group Insurance is for services on land only. This excludes
airfare costs from Phoenix to Boston roundtrip.
It is highly suggested,
but not mandatory that you have medical insurance while on tour. Most
policies do have coverage within the U.S., but please refer to your
personal insurance policies for details. Trip cancellation is also
suggested for senior travelers, and the above coverage guards against
cancellation fees prior to travel, and includes medical coverage while
on the tour, as well as baggage loss and personal injury.
Payment of a per person waiver insurance fee guarantees full
refund on all payments (including deposit), except
the waiver fee itself, made to Collette Vacations for
tour service in case of cancellation for any reason prior
to the day of departure for all land inclusions. Airfares
are not covered in this insurance for
domestic flights. Airfare cancellation fees of $100.00 per person
exist, with the remaining value available for use in future travel.
Once on tour, if
a passenger has to return home early due to personal illness, illness
or death of a member of the immediate family, (physician’s
statement required), payment of the waiver fee to Collette Vacations
guarantees full refund for any unused land services after departure from
the tour. Airline change fees are not included in this instance.
Waiver insurance
is non-transferable and valid for each applicant only. Waiver
Insurance should be purchased at time of deposit. Due to upcoming
deadlines deposits for this tour will become refundable less $50.00
upon receipt. The waiver insurance fees are fully refundable
up to 5/1/2008. Deposits will become non refundable without
insurance.
Collette Vacations can assume no responsibility for and cannot be held
liable for any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized acts or omissions
of any travel agent or travel agency other than that of Collette Vacations
itself, and its own employees.
The waiver insurance
fees do not cover any single supplement charges that arise from an
individual’s traveling companion electing
to cancel for any reason prior to departure. In this case, the single
supplement will be deducted from the refund of the person who cancels.
Division of this charge between the two passengers involved is solely
their responsibility. If insufficient funds are deducted from the canceling
client, the traveling client will be charged the remaining portion
of the single supplement. The waiver covers cancellation of your trip
and does not cover cancellation of the airline portion only.
The waiver
insurance fees includes coverage of lost, damaged or delayed baggage
as well as medical expenses, emergency medical attention, and worldwide
travelers' assistance. This is a specially negotiated rate for Collette’s
Group Travel Tours.
This insurance is offered as an economical insurance that waives both
age of the traveler and pre-existing conditions
