Passports: A
valid passport is required for this tour. If you do not have a passport
with 6 months validity, and 4 blank pages available labeled “Visa”,
or do not have a passport at this time, please contact Walkabout. If
you do not have a valid passport, please submit applications immediately
at your Central Post Office. Walkabout is not responsible for invalid
passports; and it is the sole responsibility of the traveler.
Responsibility: All
tickets, accommodations, insurance, and other services furnished by others,
with WAT acting only as their booking agency. WAT shall not be responsible
for any loss, damage or injury to property, or injury to persons caused
by reason of any defect by any transportation company, hotel or any such
party providing said services including delays in departure, arrivals,
or exclusions in the following tour package. “Acts of God” are
not WAT’s responsibility. Money: All money received
by WAT is held in an escrow account with Wells Fargo Bank to insure your
money is well protected. Refunds: Cancellations must
be in written form, and will be processed through WAT and the participating
companies on this tour. Refunds for this tour have typically taken around
12 weeks to process, with or without insurance coverage. The following
cancellation fees are set down by WAT and Coast to Coast Adventures,
and will be deducted from your payments. Insured travelers will receive
an invoice with deductions to submit for refund with your insurance carrier.
Cancellations:
All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations received after
the initial review period is subject to a $50.00 service penalty.
Deposits become nonrefundable after November 15, 2007. After this
date cancellations are subject to the below cancellation fees.
Dates & Deadlines: Cancellation
Fees Are As Follows Without Trip Cancellation Insurance:
- Deposits become refundable less $50.00 per person 2 weeks after delivery
of deposit packet.
- Deposits become completely non refundable from November 15th, 2007
to December 15, 2007.
- Final payment is due on December 15, 2007. Cancellations
December 15, 2006, to January 15, 2007 = $700.00
- Cancellations January 15, to February 1, 2007 = 50% of tour price.
- Cancellations February 1, 2007 to February 16th, 2007 = 100% of tour
price.
