Day 1 – Arenal Lake ~ Scenic Drive Guanacaste Region ~ Playa Tambor ~ Welcome Drink
Instead of returning to San Jose from Arenal Volcano, we travel west to the Pacific Nicoya Peninsula. Today is fully accompanied by a guide and driver to navigate you towards your Pacific Beach Resort. The scenic drive continues towards the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. The landscape will increasingly become drier and warmer as we cross into the cattle district of Costa Rica. The famous Guanacaste tree dominates the landscape surrounded by blooming trees of varied colors. Board our ferry and cruise to Playa Tambor "all inclusive" resort. We will arrive by late afternoon for check-in at our resort and enjoy a Welcome Drink courtesy of the Barcelo Playa Tambor Resort. This evening dine at leisure at one of the many restaurants, and enjoy the entertainment at your Pacific Beachfront Resort.
