Terms & Conditions

Walkabout Adventure travel is hereinafter referred to as WAT.

Cancellations: All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations received after May 1, 2003 will be assessed a $50.00 per person WAT cancellation fee. Cancellations after May 1, 2003 are partially non-refundable.

Travel Insurance: Cancellations & insurance will be explained in detail with your information packet upon deposit. Insurance is optional, but strongly suggested. International medical insurance and coverage is rarely included with your existing medical insurance, and is strongly recommended.

Proof of Citizenship is required for all trips outside the United States. U.S. citizens require one of the following: valid Passport; or an original Birth Certificate (or a certified copy with a raised seal) and a photo ID. All clients should check with the appropriate foreign consulate for additional entry requirements. Passports are the responsibility of each client.

Arrival/Exit Taxes: These taxes are government generated, and are in addition to the above pricing. Further explanation will be provided in the information packet.

Airline Taxes & Fuel Surcharges: These fees are charged when your airline tickets are issued, and are subject to change until that time. Once again we will have more detailed information to follow concerning these fees.

Responsibility: All tickets, accommodations and other services furnished by others, with WAT acting only as their booking agency. WAT shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury to property, or injury to persons caused by reason of any defect by any transportation company, hotel or any such party providing said services including delays in departure, arrivals, or exclusions in the following tour package.

Money: All money received by WAT is held in an escrow account with Wells Fargo Bank to insure your money is well protected.

Refunds: All refund information will be stated in written form, and will be processed through WAT and the participating companies on this tour. Refunds typically take 6 to 8 weeks to process, with or without insurance coverage. Please call 303-980-8998 with any unanswered questions.
